i've installed the painterly texture pack today and i didn't like the adminium so much so i decided to edit the terrain.png file with paint...
didn't work out well..
nou my glas isn't transparent anymore, same as the windows of my doors. and i see a cross thing in my torches, behind my ladders is just white, all white..:(
little help needed?:D
and the Adminium did work but is not completely beautiful.

i tried the paint.net and if i want to save i need to chose 8 bit, 32 bit and stuff.
which one do i need to choose or doesn't matter?

i did what u said and saved in 8 bit, put´d in minecraft.jar folder and it worked :D

just go to painterlypack.net and customize your own texture pack! i made the bedrock candy cane striped so i can tell right away (:

If you were using plain MS paint then thats why. MS paint doesnt register transperency. What you have to do is ask someone like me to transperent the white space or get a image editing software like GIMP or paint.net and erase the white space to get transparent
