I have recently been trying to get onto World of Minecraft, and after a short wait,
a message appears saying "Unable to Authenticate, your username and password may be incorrect or there are no servers to validate your login"
i have tried re-installing World of Minecraft, changing my password, typing slowly and EVERYTHING. Please will somebody help me with this problem.

yeppers, me too. I keep trying and eventually it works. Sometimes I get tired of it and just log in through minecraft.net, but then quickly exit as I feel completely crippled... ugh

Common cause.

I have found that most people are having issues due to dns caching.

Flush your cache, reboot or restart your router.

Solution

I was having this problem as well. Here's the solution I found.

If you're running Windows XP, Vista or 7...
1) Open your command prompt. For most, this can be accomplished by pressing the Windows Key + 'R'. If you don't have a windows key, or can't figure out how to do that, just search for Run in your start menu.
2) After you've opened it, a little type-box will pop up. Delete whatever is in said type-box, and type 'ipconfig /flushdns' exactly like that without the quotes. 
3) Press enter, and play minecraft on World of Minecraft.
For Macs:
1) Go to applications, then Utilities.
2) Open the Terminal application.
3) Type: dscacheutil -flushcache
4) Press Enter or Return, and play minecraft on World of Minecraft.

Hmm... It worked for me. I'm not sure what problem you'd be having. Have you tried running the DNS clear more than once, and then doing World of Minecraft? Also, make sure your Internet connection is working. I assume that since you're on this site, it's working... You can also try running World of Minecraft and signing in multiple times. Sometimes, it just derps and you've got to encourage it along... Idk otherwise, sorry.

i tried the dns flushing and doesn't work.I usually have this problem with the log in. Sometimes i can log on my mc account with World of Minecraft sometimes i can't .....
