If anything, Make sure you
If anything, Make sure you have the latest client (Version 1.9.0) As versions before this no longer work since Minecraft.net changed the way it authenticates usernames. The only way to log in with previous WoMClients is either with the resume button or direct connect.

How do I use direct connect
How do I use direct connect for World of Minecraft Realms server? I can't find it anywheres. I have both latest World of Minecraft client and latest java, login is correct, I can connect through minecraft.net but I get the unable to authenticate error when using World of Minecraft.

I believe the minecraft servers are offline for a minute. If you can't get to minecraft.net, I think you can't use the client.
