Unable to Connect

Hi guys, I've got a major problem. For the past week I have been unable to get onto the Minecraft website or forums. Every time I try, it just says it cannot connect. I have tried different browsers.
Other people I know dont seem to have a problem. My brother is able to access it and we're on the same connection.
Is there anything that I can do?

It also means I cant retrive the server list on the World of Minecraft client :(
