Update broke my minecraft.

I just updated my minecraft (like 10 minutes ago). Every time i try to open minecraft on single player mode it just shuts off now. (Im on a MAC). Please fix this, I had ALOT of work saved.

Macs cant re-download/update java. Macs have an automatic update thing for java but mine says their is no update.

Go up and click the apple
Go up and click the apple logo and go to software update.
But I did that and it didn't help.

I have the same problem. I can choose my world and it loads but when i spawn in it the screen freezes and minecraft shuts down.
