recently ive been playing in the smp easter server and there has been something happening while the staff are away.
since the server doesnt provide full protection to houses, my house has been broken into a number of times and people have either destroyed my crop, or put random holes in my house.
They have also stolen my torches and put out my Fireplace, so i had to keep asking staff to use flint and steel on my nether rack.
my suggestion is to put a radius of protection where people set home or put a radius on doors and chests with signs in them, this makes it that people cant grief the side of the door and be able to get in.
i really hope whoever keeps destroying my things please go and build your own house or ask nicely for food, if you have to get wheat from my farm just take some and re seed its not that hard.

how i can play smp,i have minecraft and i cant play it

first you need to buy the game. when u have done that you have to go and download the latest minecraft jar which is minecraft 1.2.5
and download the minecraft launcher in the website.
to connect to the World of Minecraft smp
you need to go to google and download digiex for minecraft
once you have done that run digiex and go to the option button, there is a thing that says jar downloader, download the 1.1 jar
then run minecraft go to multiplayer and add 'smp.World of Minecraft.jr.com'
then connect.
easter server ip is 199.21.114.251 it is on 1.2.5

As I've mentioned in the past, we have been testing user assigned land protection and will be implementing it after the Easter rush.
The server has been far too busy this weekend, we have even had to open up extra slots.
We didn't implement this straight off the bat as we didn't think it would get this popular so quick. With 430 whitelisted members in 4 days, we definitely are taking anti-griefing to the next step...

One thing that you guys need to know is that we (being the community managers) do not have to moderate this server. I have not been told we have to and I don't.
It's sad but I don't want anything to do with the Easter server sorry.
