use permissions to give no-op /give command?

Hi,
I wanted to use permissions plugin to give a non-op player the /give command.
I added 'essentials.give' to the permissions section of the player but it doesn't work. I have also tried to add another op command like 'essentials.tp' but that doesn't work either.
Basically I want this player to have only the give command plus the other player commands without oping him and therefore giving him all op commands.
Is this possible?
