version matters

hello guys.. I want to know if it matters I begin a world in a version and play the same world in a previous version lately..
The problem is that I began a world in 1.7.10 and want to play on 1.7.2 to use some mods that didn't work properly in the latest version...
I've been reading on forums and it seems that won't cause missing blocks issues, but I want to be sure..

No blocks have been added between the versions 1.7.2 and 1.7.10, so there will not be any block missing issues. Generally, you do not want to play a world that was started in a newer version due to issues, but it should be fine in this case.
