I am having a problem with getting VIPRE (my firewall) to allow the Minecraft port (25565) to get through it. I have been able to figure out how to port forward with my router, but seem to be stuck here. I know that it is my firewall because I have shut it down and used http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ to test if the port is open. I have tried putting 25565 under port exceptions many times, but must be doing something wrong. I am hoping that another VIPRE user will be able to see this and help me out.
