Weird sound from computer

So... Whenever I login to Minecraft, my computer starts making a high-pitched (though soft) buzzing/hissing/static noise. It doesn't do it at any other time. It seems to come from the end of the motherboard near the Ethernet port and/or processor, but I can't imagine my processor would make a sound like that. Any ideas?

I have this same problem. When I click on "single player" or, more so, on "Multiplayer" it does the same. The sound goes away if I log into a game or if I exit one of those 2 screens.
