Hmm.... Do you really think Notch would read this? I doubt with the little amount of spare time he has, he would come around World of Minecraft. He doesn't even have enough time to visit his own minecraft forums stated in a post he made. But anyways yeah you have some good ideas there. I'd actually like to share some of my own related to mob behavior.

On the Minecraft wiki I think, I think I read that there was a fish mod that was planned to come out, but didn't.

I really like the horse idea =P My idea to add to the game is... a copper block maybe? And you mine for it, then you maybe use it to make coins which a server without a currency system would highly enjoy. And they could serve the same purpose as lapis, too. Great addition to the house ;D

copper could also be used for pipes, the could be used to transport water like how redstone is used for electricity
then you could make pumps which are like redstone repeaters to make the water go further(it would have a certain distance that it could travel without pumps)
and then taps could control water flow, could be used to make better waste disposal systems or more controllable moats

If only there was a mod for that. And you can drink water to for like a heart or maybe a bar for water. IDK (Just brainstorming)

flowerpots? They could be glass, iron, diamond, and gold. You could place roses and dandelions in them, just to decorate your house. The crafting layout could look like this:
-=Nothing
+=glass pane (for glass flowerpot), iron ingot (for iron), diamond (for diamond), and gold ingot (for gold)

I'm back!!! OH ya and wow Notch would get overloaded with ideas if everyone would just ask him to add stuff cause there's allot. But then again I don't really like a game with millions of options it get to much. And I was thinking about enhanced bows and arrow's like a long range bow, power bow, or silent bow. And with arrows they can go through 2 animals or be silent or maybe even extra sharp. Keep on posting ideas maybe if this gets really popular notch WILL get this. Peace.

The only thing that really affects the gameplay in a way i don't want is breeding. I really don't like the thought that i constantly have to breed animals just to keep the population up around my home, and then wait for them to grow up to get any kind of resources from them.
What i would love to have in this game is decorative stuff (doors, stairs, slabs, etc) could be created using more materials. For example, if i wanted a white staircase instead of a grey one, i could create it from white wool or maybe dye it or something.
Also, a volcano seems a little overpowered for this kind of game...

I'm not saying that there's a volcano in every corner or something like that but more rare then a ruin and there's a gas bar so you can't get too close and you have to watch it so it wont erupt onto your house. JUST SAY IT THAT WOULD BE AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well if you put it that way then ya breeding sucks. I used to think aww there so cute but now it's gona be a bitc* breeding them and the more decorations, I think it would ruin the felling your making a survival house to fight monsters not to watch T.V.

Dude, that won't happen... sorry. Also, Notch probably won't read your emails you send him. I'm not trying to put you down or anything, but he's a busy guy, and with the actual game coming out soon, he's trying to get a ton of stuff in 1.9.

i think they should add a way for players who play on peaceful to be able to get mob items like bones,enderperils, gas tears, blaze rod, spider eyes,eta.....

i think the swimming would take too much time for too little effect
