What would happen if someone greifed the entire map?

What would really happen? When was the last time. Someone told me that when some ex-admin was demoted to arch, he greifed the entire map and was banned forever. Can you please tell me that username. What would also really happen if you greifed the entire map? Will you get banned from the server?

You talk of Iscalar.  He did not grief the Entire map, he DOMINATED IT.

If he were to hand grief, it would have been no big deal, a spectation of course, and a slap on the hand.  But this guy, Decided to /fill air the entire map.  Crashing the lava server.  If you were to do that, you would suffer the same fate.  If you were to hand grief, you would get spectated.  Anywho, Griefing is bad dun doooeet!

No he got banned actually

No he actually got banned. Some admin or mod told me a few days ago.
