Its been leaked that Notch could be adding an "experience orb". I kinda doubt it because Minecraft never intended to have stuff like leveling up.

If you've ever check MinecraftWiki(which I have only once XD), It says that there will be an "Adnventure Mode." It's not really a mode, but.... Possibly, they might take out building altogether, more enemies, and others.... If it isn't popular, Notch just might as well revert.
