I can no longer find any more wolfs in the new map. Somebody have been killing them off. I had about 12 wolfs so far. Three died by fire, a fall and an accident, the rest had all beed kill by other players. Had tried getting a wolf from the old map but that only worked once.
A wolf when tamed are not only just good for company but can be fun to have with when on an adventure or exploring. They also help kill animals amd mobs. If only players can protect there pet wolf as easily as one can protect one chest.

I had like 36 (breeding :P) and they all just disappeared.

Yes I had that happened too.
Four good little wolfs all line up sitting, and then 'Poof!' all gone, just like magic.
Another thing, I think the wolfs maybe a bit buggy. They'll bounce up and down the first and second floor. Make em sit! Nop his down stairs. Have him sit and go out for a walk to do things, and as you do some work and before you konw it, it 'YELP' your banging your own wolf to death.
O, and they just love to throw themselves onto your fireplace. Ar yes, there nothing like a nice hot roasted wolf by the fireplace at night when it cold and raining outside....

If you wolfs are in your claim i am pretty sure the cannot be killed so when you log off take them home and store them somwhere in your claim so people don't attack them.. :P

On the pvp server now they just .. simply dissapear after I tame them, they sit, and assoon as i tell them to stand up POOF, gone.

I'll say it again. Behold! They're not wolfs, their bugs. Their gotta be, with all the strange things that happens to them.

Seems every time I get them, and tell them to sit somewhere, i come back to that spot and they dissapear.. even paid 20k before that to have people find them for me
