Space Engineers is a game similar to Minecraft in which you build space ships and stations with blocks and fly them around. It's a great game that I'm using as a time filler until World of Minecraft updates. So if anyone would like to play with me just let me know here.

I would like to play it, it seems like a game I've already played and enjoyed. This would probably be better though. I'll probably end up getting it later into January or February...

It's like saying any game with guns is like Call of Duty, or any game with cars is like Need for Speed.
Olive Garden is like McDonalds because they both sell food, and that's why you should eat there.

Well it does because it's subjective.
Plus things can also be like other things in exactly the ways you listed.
I could say call of duty is like need for speed. They're both game franchises.
Just depends on how close you go before you have enough differences to no longer think of them as similar.

It's not similar to Minecraft in any way other than it being partially sandbox. Not every game is "like minecraft" if you can build stuff in it.
