So I'm eagerly awaiting 1.8 (And have been for over a month) and it just struck me that even though World of Minecraft has a fairly tight knit community, I often find people that I don't know. So for me and for anyone else who might be interested I think that everyone who plans on being there for 1.8 should introduce themselves, or tell us more about you.
I think things that would help me and other people get to know you would be the following things:
-MineCraft Username (The name we'll see on the server)
-Favorite part of Minecraft (Building, Farming, Mining, Exploring)
-SMP Style (Mostly on your own, in a small group, co-dependant, etc.)
-Things you're looking forward to about the server update (Minecraft features, or server features, or maybe just the fact that it is gonna happen eventually)
-Things you like about the current server (Server features/plugins and people/builds or whatever else)
-Things you like to do outside of minecraft (Other games, or real life stuff)
-Other THINGS (Anything else you want to be known)

I love the builds on the current server. Every one of them is different and creative. It all gives me ideas for things to build on my solo worlds.
Other than Minecraft, I mostly play GTAV on PS3. Some of my GTA friends made me get Call of Duty Black Ops 2, so I play that now too.

I enjoy redstone and automating systems, I have a thing for secret bases.
Usually on smp I float around checking out what other people are up to. I build redstone things and try to improve stuff, I usually half finish my building projects.
I'm excited about the slime blocks the most for 1.8 things. Also looking forward to the new warp system (There's a couple of bugs that I've been lazy about cleaning up but I have a good idea of how I'll do it.)
I'm really happy with some of the command stuff like givepet, If there's more things like that you guys might like to see please let me know when you see me online.
I'm pretty big on league, I main support thresh and prefer to support with facetanks and hook champs.
I don't generally friend people on other platforms (skype, steam etc) but if you see me on mc I'm always happy to try and answer questions and chat. =]

I am a guy who was introduced to the game through my Nephew, I am playing on xBox with him and some of the stuff I see on YouTube, only seems to work on the computer, not xBox, looking for a site or xBox section of a forum to learn how if it is allowed in xBox to do certain things. Like how to plant, in survival mode, sugar cain or is it even possible. Also how to plant in survival mode Mushrooms. I have built a wheat garden, in a green house to make bread and breed cow's. But where do I find the other growing things? and how do I get them started in a garden?

SMP Style: I usually build either on my own or with my sister/cousins but I like exploring the world with a random group.
Things I'm looking forward to about the server update: I really like the banners in 1.8, also being able to build new stuff and everyone starts from the same place again. Also NEXUS!
Things I like about the current server: Pointy's Tamriel is super cool and a great addition to the server also everyone is really nice and amazing builders.
Things I like to do outside of Minecraft: I ran Cross Country and Track in High School and now do it for my university. Also I like to eat food.

My minecraft username is RileyLewis, but I'm fine being called Riley. I enjoy mining and making farms a little too much, but I also like to build. I only really explore in minecraft until I get a great spot to build. I like to mostly keep to myself, but I'm almost always available to help others (And sometimes I need help myself :P.) I'm mostly looking forward to the fact that there will be a good 1.8 server once World of Minecraft updates. When the current server was active I liked the community and most of all the staff. It is always awesome to play on World of Minecraft and see niels or terra (or anyone else really.) Since I haven't been playing Minecraft much recently I've gotten into playing Borderlands and Garry's mod. Over the steam sale I got Grand Theft auto and The Binding Of Isaac Rebirth, so I'll get into those once I download them. I love animals, but I'm pretty much allergic to everything wilderness, so I like going to the zoo more than hiking. Honestly If I could have a backstage pass to the zoo for every day I'd leave my computer games completely alone for at least a month. Also if you want sympathy over warm weather from me, you'll get none. I live in Coachella Valley and it gets over 120F (50 C) sometimes. On a related note if you complain about cold weather to me you'll get tons of sympathy, because the coldest I've ever seen the valley was 40F (5 C) and that was an exceptionally cold day.
TLDR: I like World of Minecraft and animals, but I hate cold weather.
