I'm Still new to Minecraft but I'm experiencing major lag about every other minute in the game. When I first log in and play its fine, but 30 minutes or so into the game I'll experience major lag. (Up to 2 fps). I've tried turning all the settings in the pause menu to the lowest and the fastest, but that doesn't work. Has anyone else been experiencing this immense amount of lag in the game? I'm not even connected to a server so I'm not playing on the Internet. (Not Internet lag). Did I dowload it wrong? I don't know what to do and how to fix it. Any Idea's or tips would be very greatfull. Thanks!
Here's my computer specs if that will help.

Maybe the lag is because you aren't moving. most servers kick for being idle 30 mins

Try fogging it. Or switch graphics mode to fast (only in Beta). Or you can just restart it periodically (like every 30 minutes) to fix the lag. Or you can wait it out to avoid frustration.
