Why was I just banned?

I was just on the Public SMP server, tried to open the door to my own house on my own claim, and was randomly banned without any explanation.  I have never griefed, said anything bad in the chat, or done anything else that would make sense to warrant a ban.  Can someone please at least tell me why?

You were banned by Hallyn for

You were banned by Hallyn for grief found on a house that was pointed out by another player. I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt and unban you as you went to great measures to do so.

Make sure I don't see something like this again.

While I appreciate being

While I appreciate being unbanned, I don't think I want to continue playing on this server.  I was suddenly banned with absolutely no explanation, based on conjecture and circumstance.  This is more than mildly infuriating.  While I thank you for giving me the benefit of the doubt, I will nonetheless no longer be playing on any World of Minecraft servers.  I may have been new on your server, but that does not automatically label a player as a griefer.

Although I know very little of the situation

You do realise that the staff have access to what actions were performed on every block right?

Although you may not have intended it as grief, I guess the logs showed that you removed someone else's blocks from somewhere.

Why would they have banned for no reason?

You must've done something to alert staff to dish out a ban.
