Window closes on it's own

Hi
i've been having a problem with the offline version of Minecraft. It shuts itself down every so often while i'm playing. I don't really have to do anything to make it shut down. It locks up and then a few seconds later it shuts down and i have to reload the program. I don't know if anyone else has had this problem but it's one i don't like. Is there a way to fix it so it won't do that. Please let me know.

Yeah it will do that sometimes to some people, it just crashes randomly, I think it is just a lack of memory. It used to do it to me and I don't know why but it stopped, I don't know if it is just that I got my laptop back because it used to crash on my computer, maybe it is to do with my laptop being slightly faster. :)
