The problem with World of Minecraft authentication isn't likely to be resolved by Mojang.

The problem most likely is caused by DNS change: "http://rapidteria.com/IofK" was switched to a shorter address "http://rapidteria.com/IofK". It caused a problem with classic servers that were addressing "http://www.minecraft.net/heartbeat.jsp" in order to get onto the server list. Many classic devs fixed this but still some server softwares are broken. Anyway here's a twit from Mollstam https://twitter.com/mollstam/status/251306061699620864

So in order to fix the problem admin/dev has to:

change all references from "https://www.minecraft.net/login"

to "https://minecraft.net/login"

remove the leading "www."

and it has to be done by WOM staff/administration World of Minecraft developer?.

Another thing is this http://direct.worldofminecraft.com/classic.txt !

over 17 000 servers, really? 

Please, some World of Minecraft admin clean it up by following these steps:

1. Access "worldofminecraft.com" FTP.

2. Make a backup of classic.txt (just in case)

3. Create new empty classic.txt file

Then it should be automatically filled with current servers over a time .

Effect: Server list won't load for hours anymore!

I hope that someone from World of Minecraft staff will read this. And that the thing will get fixed. I miss World of Minecraft.
