if you log onto World of Minecraft client 1.9 and it says 'you are not permitted to this server (your name), that is because you need to download World of Minecraft client 2.0.5. Then you can go back to the way you usually play.
differences: The texture pack bug is fixed.

just to give my comment on the last one, I only switched to exclusively World of Minecraft because it doesn't lag so much as the website does, and I've grown accustom to using the Fly hack in helping me greatly in builds.. so cheers, guys :D

I've even changed the config of zombe's mod pack (The fly addition) to work with the same keys as World of Minecraft does due to how much I use both classic and beta. :P
So, yeah, its definitely the key to playing classic properly.

for some reason i get higher fps at World of Minecraft its so weird thats why im accustomed to using it. and also i can cheat in lavasurvival servers :D

I'm having problems with getting onto World of Minecraft, Says I've written the wrong password but I know it's right and neither of my accounts are working. I'm having trouble getting onto the main Www.minecraft.net site aswell. Is this happening to anyone else? :(

The reason all that happen is because Minecraft.net is under maintenance, you might need to try again at some other time.

Thanks for the heads up.
It's been quite a devastating update, I'm pretty glad World of Minecraft is doing such a good job, spite what the apparent trollers have said, without World of Minecraft, minecraft classic would be a pretty sh**y place.
