Perhaps I have misunderstood, but is World of Minecraft not able to join a private SMP server with simply the IP/Port? The only way I can see to get to a server is through the Classic Creative URL.

I've spent a lot of time trying to find a solution online but I haven't really seen anyone ask.

I've tried:

http://www.minecraft.net/play.jsp?server=IP-To-Server&25565&override=true

As someone said to do to someone else in a similar question, but that was the closest thing, and obviously the above solution didn't work.

So I know the IP to the server, I know the port (default) What do I do to get World of Minecraft to connect to this SMP server as it has no URL; or is this just simply not possible?
