Mollstam (find him on Twitter) has made some changes to the Minecraft server in an effort to make it more stable. Whatever he has changed is affecting WomClient's ability to connect, giving us the "HTTP response code: 502". I expect this will be the case for hours. I am able to connect to servers directly through the Minecraft server page using Firefox, so as far as he is concerned, things are working okay. Unfortunately, WomClient is not their responsibility and it's up to the "World of Minecraft" people to try to keep up with constant changes to the Minecraft server site. It must be really hard to keep up with a constantly changing situation. We might have to be patient. :(

This problem is common. So please just hang tight. When this happens all you can do is wait, it usally clears up in a few hours or so. I belive it is because the client cannot reach the servers as Minecraft has had a large string of updates recently and that could possibly be the source of the problem.

just click on the cached versiom when i do that the server list pops up thats what i do if it gives u an error message after that you prolly are gonna half to wait

Cached doesn't work, it basically gives you the 502 bad gateway error but in a different way.

PLEASE World of Minecraft TEAM reply, what is going on... by the way, if u log out on the site, you cant log in anymore, it gives in the browser also error 502... maybe that has something to do with it???

I am having the same error, yet the minecraft servers are up and running. The server list works fine online, it's World of Minecraft that is messing up here

The only solution is to wait, this is an error with the client, not the website, with all the updates the connection to minecraft.net is kinda screwed up. Try direct connect urls, or wait

This always happen when i start to play, minecraft gets updates, notch needs to do coding to deal with this issue.
