World of Minecraft Client Error (the system cannot find the path specified)

Ok well when i first downloaded this it said "The registry refers to a nonexistent Java Runtime Environment installation or the runtime is corrupted." ive tried everything it just doesnt want to work and it always says the samething. if anyone has a salution. please notify me ASAP.

reinstalling java
ok well i reinstalled java. and i get the same pop up while opening the client. and i cant even play single player, due to the same issue.

check java in command window
In a command window, try the following command to see if java is installed properly:
java -version

Have you got Java Update 24? That is the latest version as far as I know.
