World of Minecraft Client "Failed to Connect"

OK so the server list loads and the client is DEFINITELY installed correctly. It used to work on this computer and now does not anymore. Here's the problem, when I try to connect to any server, it comes back with "Failed to connect to server: It's probably down". Thing is, it's not down, people are in it. I can connect easily to the server by playing in browser but World of Minecraft refuses to connect. Any ideas?

I'm unable to connect in the World of Minecraft client and Minecraft.net. This happened when I was right in the middle of making something as well.
