I have the latest version of Java, and it's working. But it won't let me join the server. Please comment to help me.

If your using the official 1.8 version(s) of Minecraft it should connect to World of Minecraft. If using a bootleg copy of minecraft such as Mineshafter it could refuse to authenticate. Perhaps that will be helpful?

Thanks for the comments, I'll try that suggestion Deaducatedx. You may be right FiXeroN. But one question, what is a bootleg of minecraft, I don't even think that is supported anymore. But, I kinda cheated in getting minecrtaft 1.8. I downloaded a websites client and I got it free. I will not tell you the website because that would be against the forum rules, but that makes sense.

The client from this site is for classic which is free but no longer supported. We do not support "free" 1.8 clients. If you want to play on the World of Minecraft smp server buy the game.

And yeah... I kinda knew you weren't on the same version or something.. Cause I tried to connect another pc to World of Minecraft for the kids and they have bootleg copy. Lol obviously it didn't work and hence that's how i knew.

Mojang doesn't support classic anymore, neighter is the World of Minecraft client. If you even find a server to play on.
So most likely there is no way to fix it.
