rem eg: set JAVA6="C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_04\bin\java.exe"

can someone please help us with the same problem as these people we need info maaan.
This is bull. minecraft sucks with no World of Minecraft. plz someone find out whats wrong!!!!
don't know what the deal is, I had already set a java filepath for this, and also had already put the .jar in the lib... also I just replaced my .jar nothing is working
people have been asking about this all day and theres been no answer still to the same problem can someone pleasee
It worked for me for a split moment. But anytime I tried to connect to a server it would give me an "invalid server URL" error.
Hey, just want to let everyone know that I had sent a message asking about this, and recieved a reply, they have recognized this as an issue and are working on a fix, so everyone keep your pants on and I am sure this will be fixed soon :)
It would appear that this issue only affects random members of the community both Windows and Mac based operating systems. Everything is working fine for me on my end.
I have the same problem
So this is what happens:
I redownload everything including the minecraft.jar and the World of Minecraft.client.
I place the minecraft.jar in the lib folder then click on run.exe
Then i get a message box: "application will now quit, it will pick up the extended applet on restart." After this the World of Minecraft.client cmd box gives the error listed above . So how do you turn off the automatic downloads as it seems the updater actually downloads minecraft.jar from BETA for some reason...
