World of Minecraft Error after Java update

After updating Java to the newest version, World of Minecraft no longer works properly.
I can log in fine and I can see the server list. However when I try to join a server I get a blank screen followed by an error message:
I'm not sure if the Java update caused the error to my World of Minecraft, but it coincides with the Java update and was working fine beforehand.
I've re-downloaded.
I've waited.
I've waited.
I've manually downloaded minecraft.jar.
...
Any solutions?

Hm....
Not sure what I did. Just fiddled around with the .jars and ... presto ... it works ...
