World of Minecraft Fly and no-clip hack. can't save!

I've been using Minecraft (creative) to do a project for my world history class, and I thought that I'd save so I didn't lose work if it crashed. I found after that I was not able to save, in the menu it just fails to save. idk I the level dump button will help, but it doesn't do anything helpful from what I've seen.

I can't remember which it is (haven't played creative in forever). what I do is open the menu with esc and select save, it takes a sec to retrieve the list (none) and then when I try to save it says saving level and then it reports that it failed. after that is returns to the game.
