"Java Runtime Environment 1.6.0 is required"

That's the error message I recieved from Java after trying to run World of Minecraft 3.0.exe. I already have Java Runtime installed and re-installed, but nothing seems to work.

The same error occured with my minecraft.exe, but I just changed it to minecraft.jar and it seemed to work fine. I do not think that may be the case with World of Minecraft.

Update: Changing it to Jar did work, but it keeps giving me a "failed to connect. server may be down" error for every server I try to connect to.
