Whenever i get on World of Minecraft, it lags so bad that it doesn't respond, and i have to close the program. If it happens to get past the "not respond" phase, its still very laggy, and it takes a very long time to load. IT NEVER DID THIS BEFORE. What is going on?

there has been a bug it wont let me close the server list when it pops up and its wont let me serch or click on a server its happening to my friend also plzzz tell me wats going on.
