World of Minecraft loading problems

When I load up my World of Minecraft client, the server list does not show up.
Can someone explain to me why and how to fix it?

Search the forums before posting.
Install java if you havent already:
http://java.com/en/download/installed.jsp
and you NEED to user YOUR minecraft.net USERNAME and PASSWORD.

i have used my minecraft username and password correctly and i have java as it previously worked for me...but its not working now :(
