I have Minecraft saved to my desktop and it runs beautifully.
I have a folder on the desktop also, named 'World of Minecraft', with the extracted files from 'womclient-1.5.9.zip'.
I have downloaded 'minecraft.jar' from http://minecraft.net/download.jsp and saved it in "C:\Users\*username*\Desktop\World of Minecraft\lib".
When I run 'run.bat' I get the following error: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/mojang/minecraft/MinecraftApplet
I have also copied the 'minecraft.jar' file from "C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin". Both of the minecraft.jar files I used have different file sizes. Running 'run.bat' with either of these minecraft.jar files produces the exact same error message above.
Is there something I am not doing correctly? Do I have files in the wrong location? Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you very much for the reply. This is the exact information I needed.
I was following the instructions in the 'Readme.txt' file included in the World of Minecraft zip file, which tells you to go here: http://minecraft.net/client/minecraft.jar
Thanks again :)

That's not the right minecraft.jar file. You need the classic one, located here: https://s3.amazonaws.com/MinecraftDownload/classic/minecraft.jar
