Ok people we get it, World of Minecraft cant validate your login. my World of Minecraft wont work either. just stop posting ur complaints there is many fourms about this problem. Chill out. It'll get fixed sooner or later. Thank you

If you'll notice, the topic triddin posted this in (almost a year ago...) had specific questions about all of these errors. I dont have a problem with it being posted in this thread (assuming it will be the only error thread, probably wont happen, but its worth hoping), but the other 4 topics you posted it in had absolutely nothing to do with these errors...

Uncheck the valid checkbox. That is the server list that the valid list is pulled from, uncheck valid and it should work.

Thank you. This worked, and although I think that it does make the server list laggy, it loaded the server list, so it did work!!! I would go and post this on every thread about this I find, but I am too lazy and it is like 10:30 PM so I have to go to bed soon.

In my experience this one has come from connection problems, I told someone else to unplug their router or modem and try again and it worked for them, may not work for everyone, but give it a try.
Edit: If that doesnt work...
Beyond making absolutely sure your username and password are correct
(uncheck remember me and try again if you havent already), possibly
changing your password, and ruling out connection issues, I'd say try
redownloading World of Minecraft, make sure you are logging in with the valid box
unchecked as well.
Further edit..
If none of that works you may have to wait for something to change, unless someone figures something out, because this seems to be a problem for A LOT of people right now.

"Error: Invalid User" -I've seen it a bunch
I can not seem to find this anywhere in the World of Minecraft source code but I may be overlooking it, so I cant know exactly what's causing this, but I'd assume it's on minecraft.net's side. First, make sure your username and password are correct, uncheck remember me and change them, then go to minecraft.net and test them there. If that doesnt help you try changing your password on minecraft.net, and if that doesn't work change it on here. I'll try to keep looking into this one, because it seems like a lot of people are having this problem.

Just read in another post that this is only happening on realms, which could be the reason I've never seen this error, because I rarely play on realms anymore, so I'm not sure what could be causing this, but it could be World of Minecraft direct problems (which would also cause problems with other servers with direct urls, (the ones that look like mc://108.149.65.34:25564/Peteys93/xxxxx45487668.)
But there is also a change password button on the womrealms page, so try using that (if this is a realms specific problem and not a direct connect in general specific problem, that should help.) If it's a general direct connect problem, it still might help, cant hurt to try.

For me this error has only ever occured with connection problems, but it can happen if for any reason your login is not validated, which as indicated could be from an incorrect password. Beyond making absolutely sure your username and password are correct (uncheck remember me and try again if you havent already), possibly changing your password, and ruling out connection issues, I'd say try redownloading World of Minecraft, make sure you are logging in with the valid box unchecked as well.

I'm glad to see this problem is happening to everyone and not just me. I've been stressing out on trying to get my World of Minecraft Client to work again. It ended in me deleting caches, restarting my computer, and finally restoring it. Hope its fixed soon. Thanks

So yeah, having this same problem, minecraft.net works, redownloading World of Minecraft does not work, changing password/unchecking remember me/unchecking validate does not work, rebooting/unplugging/etc. router does not work, my connection is fine.
Just posting this to tell the people trying to offer solutions that they are ineffective, not complaining or whining or anything...

It is certainly strange that this seems to be happening to so many people right now. It's happened to me in the past, but mine's working fine right now, I'm just posting things that have worked for me in the past. I've never seen so many people with the same error in such a short period of time. It's espescially weird to me because I dont have the same error myself, so it must be working for some people, something strange is definitely going on though.
Edit:
The only thing I can see that has changed at all is that I can only open World of Minecraft direct pages when I add https:// in front of them, although I cant remember if that was the case before and dont know if that could be causing problems like this, it could be direct.worldofminecraft.com maintenance that is causing the issues (but that is just speculation).

I already posted a comment here but I also have to say one more thing. Don't attempt to restore your computer to try to fix World of Minecraft Client. It doesn't work and when you try to play on minecraft.net Directly after restoring it, you get a black screen. (At least thats what happened to me)

Strange that restoring your computer caused a black screen on minecraft.net (I wouldnt have necessarily have thought of that as solution for World of Minecraft problems, but I can see what you were thinking there, and it makes sense), but if it's still not working, you may have restored your computer to a time before a java update, which could be causing the black screen, try updating java if it's still not working for you on mc.net.

Assuming the server you are playing in allows hacks you just need to log in, type /client hacks on, then log out and log back in again. However, it could mean that the server you are playing in doesnt allow hacks.

If you have seen a valid server list in the last 24 hours, it will allow you to use a cached version of the list instead, but some of the servers on the cache may not be online any longer or may have changed url since the list was seen and may no longer work.
Pixel format not acceleratedThis error means that your video card driver is too old or your D3D needs updating. You should see if there's a new video card driver available and/or update direct x.
