Ever sence I dont have anything better to do I am proposing quests in the World of Minecraft SMP server for other players. I am also making a list of quests so you dont do the same one many times and dont miss out on any. Everyone will start out at quest #1 and then work they're way up getting better rewards after each quest. There will be a LOT of quests so that it will last for awhile and keep you busy for awhile. (Think of it like Borderlands except Minecraft Version) I will also make a list of those who are currently doing a quest and keep track of the quests you have finished. If you want to start a new quest or complete one come see me.

Well considering that I am on a lot, players will be able to accept/ turn in any quest that they are starting/ completing

You should make a shop eg get 5 spider eyes reward = cash reward

Have rewards at the end of each quest that are unique to each quest. Like a Halloween quest will have pumpkins, torches, and some nether stuff. A Christmas quest will have wool, flint n steel and snowballs, also add some gold and iron ingots here and there too. :>

Random quests will have random items. Also repeatable quests will be shops.

can you see my signature? Also funny you mention that, I'm actually making a little quest booth at the bottom of my house and am hoping for a warp. If anyone can lend me a hand it might get a warp faster, and thanks for the seasonal special quests. also captain goal i love that signature and i think thats C4 on the end of his hammer

well I am making a place that is solely made for the World of Minecraft Quests and i will be putting up a sign saying what quest that peticular person is at.

So when 1.3 Is out will selling written books work?
Also If it does work you can make a quest book with vol #s, also newspapers could be made, think of the possibility's.

yes the daily quest in the daily newspaper, two books containg the players progress and keeping track of their current quest.

World of Minecraft Quests will now be open on August 4th with (I will GUARANTEE this) 150 quests by the end of the month and the daily quest journal will open when i get my sugarcane farm going.

You can just make a large pool with signs on the bottom and a current under the signs going to the center to a drop that will kill them.

When the server is updated and all that will some people be able to help me with the cows and the squid? I have a place ready for the cows, but not the squid. I have one place in mind for the squid though.

Sounds like a good idea, not sure how well it's going to play out, especialy as you won't be on all the time, meaning someone may not be able to start/finish a quest when THEY want to.
