I just downloaded everything today and everything was working fine. I was working in my home realm using the client and all of a sudden it said lost connection to server. Now every time I double click World of Minecraft realms on the client it says "You failed to connect to server. Its probably down"

If they are working on the server, the best thing to do is to wait and play something else. Everytime that you try to log into the World of Minecraft server, it has to kick you out, so even if they try to restart, the lag may increase dramatically. Seeing as there are some realms (atleast showing on womrealms.com) online, I assume it is a moderator thing mainly.
