World of Minecraft Smp

I keep getting the error took to long to log in for the World of Minecraft smp server and its driving me up a wall wondering how to fix it. i see people playing on it but i just cant get the damn thing to connect.

oh sh*t yeah thats right i did hear about the servers not being updated to the latest version yet so how do i get it to 1.1 then...

Go to options, then click on jar downloader, then go down the list to minecraft final 1.1, download it, then use digiex as your launcher until we update.
If you don't feel like using digiex then delete the minecraft.jar in the bin folder, and rename the jar there that says final1-1 or something like that to minecraft.jar and then there you go...
