In fact, Minecraft beta doesn't work at all. I'm on a mac Leopard (10.5.8) and when I download the client everything's fine until I actually launch it, it just bounces once (as if initiating) then stops. No error message like "The application 'Minecraft' has quit unexpectedly" or "Unable to launch 'Minecraft.'" I try to do the in-browser version on Firefox but it quits unexpectedly as soon as i click the link. And Safari says 'Java is unavailable. The page “Minecraft” attempted to load Java content, but Java is unavailable or not installed.' That's word for word. Yes, i have tried reinstalling Java, uninstalling previous versions, everything, the whole nine yards, help!!!
