World of Minecraft Starting Fail?

NOTE: My computer is NOT a mac. its a windows computer, just changed the theme to LOOK like a mac.

Ok Guys, this is my 3rd day playing on MineCraft, and i want to expand my building, So i downloaded World of Minecraft so i can fly, speed to enhance my building, etc. So, i downloaded World of Minecraft correctly, put minecraft.jar in lib, pressed run, it upgraded it, then when i run it again to play World of Minecraft, it messes up! Heres pics:

Im having the same problem

EXCEPT though, I'm actually on a mac :P

The temporary solution is to re-download the minecraft.jar file again from

https://s3.amazonaws.com/MinecraftDownload/classic/minecraft.jar

If that fails, reinstall the wrapper and the minecraft.jar again. It's a temporary fix, for the next time you boot it up and it says it's gonna update the issue arises again.

Although, I have major issues with connecting to multiplayer server even after doing this. I noticed that my server bookmarks were preserved after doing the above. meaning that there are still some files left on my mac (probably in some nasty hidden folder in Application Support) after I delete the wrapper.

i'd like to know a way to disable this "applet automatic update" . it wold be a sweet feature if it WORKED.

And I'd like to know the place where the World of Minecraft Wrapper stores it's server bookmarks and various data files. Even the location on a windows computer would help me out a lot.

im having the same problems. only it keeps happening with no end. right now im averaging. downloading World of Minecraft 1.3 times a day. because it crashes at least once a day. needs to be fixed. now.

Real fix

I surfed around on the forums, google, and youtube and came up with this

Most of the people say deleting the null file solves this update issue.

"hey guess what i found out how to completely get rid of this problem forever.

Using win.rar open minecraft.jar and look for a null document then delete it. This will stop the updates forever. Keep on building"

I hope this helps you! I'll have to search for my multiplayer issue elsewhere...

Good god someone finnaly got rid of this problem. logged in, gonna try out single player and multi player, and the hacks xD, Thanks Again

It Worked.. now...

For the first time it worked perfectly because i deleted that null document. now, when i run it the second time, even without that null document, it still updates! and turns my minecraft.jar to 0 kb again! is there any version of World of Minecraft that DOES NOT update??

Yeah... sorry about that...

I tried the same thing yet no luck... Sorry about the misleading info it was what the majority said...

This new World of Minecraft client version on the site (version 1.6.2) seems to have no issue with this updating process... However, it gets rid of the "switch" and "reload" buttons (who's dumb idea was that?!) and im having issues with the Jumping physics. However, the Pro's are that it has a fancy contained application (FINALLY!!! ... well for us mac users anyways... Im getting tired of running that script...) and that it dosent seem to have that update issue any longer.

Update: my multiplayer issue got solved... Notch was busy working on the servers at that time or something.

i couldnt see the last 3

i couldnt see the last 3 pics, but it loads for me, then doesnt actually go on the server, then i click on it and it stops responding
