World of Minecraft won't open

I searched the forums for someone having this problem and got no results. I'm afraid I'm missing something terribly obvious here. I:
>downloaded the latest version of the client (2.0.7)
>downloaded the latest minecraft.jar
>unzipped the client
>added the .jar to the lib folder
And then when I double click World of Minecraft.exe, nothing happens. Nothing; no errors, warnings, crashes, corruptions, or notifications of any kind, but it will not open. Java is working fine, I can still play minecraft and do other things with it.

That worked, but now I'm confused. I got the .jar from the minecraft website, does World of Minecraft use a different .jar file?

The jar on Minecraft.net is
The jar on Minecraft.net is for the current version of Minecraft. The client uses version 0.30. There is a big difference :P

Where did you get this "jar" file? he client will automatically download it itself so maybe you should delete that jar and let the client do it's thing?
