World of Minecraft wont open [LOCKED]

So the other day it would open fine, then it changed and it would open and only show certain servers over and over again and now when I click on World of Minecraft application it wont open and ill click in 100 times but nothing will happen. I tried minecraft.net and it wont open the classic multiplayer or anything. And finally when I went and typed in my server URL it wont even show anything a internet explorer page comes up sayingg this page couldnt be found. What can I do?

There are a lot of threads showing up lately about the World of Minecraft Client being laggy.
This is due to the issues with the Minecraft.net Server List
which should be sorted out soon on their end. We are also taking
measures to prevent this from inconveniencing World of Minecraft users in the future.
In the meantime, the client will still launch, it takes a while to
initially load. Also avoid using the server filter box in the WoM
Client.
