So I was REALLY excited about the update (who wasn't) and I went about getting ready by finding some obsidian. Got enough to make a portal, finally did it today. Went to the Nether for awhile, it was great. Went back into the portal, got to the loading screen, finishes and goes black. Stops responding, I try to exit it (stupidly) and it ends up my world is 0.0 mb when I open minecraft again.

it is NOT gone. and you do need a fix.
your world is still there. it's just a glitch. dont mind it. enjoy the update. :D
i saw the same thing. my world is still around.
i hope you didnt delete the file...it's perfectly fine.

I was surprised that happened to me, but when I checked it again, nothing happened

I had a new spawn when I checked the world, and on second check, I noticed my inventory was still there!

one of my saves said 0.0mb but it still works.
