Hi I just downloaded that World of Minecraft client and i put theOFFICIAL minecraft . jar file wich i downloaded from the site also just now, in the lib folder, and it still gives me an error... What do I do?

Mine is 50 Kb... I gues that is too low??? But thats the file I got from the site... And yes, I ran the run.bat...

And I have one other question, do I keep my save games? I mean, like, the things i made in the official minjecraft.EXE, do I also have those worlds in the World of Minecraft client? and if I work on my castle/rollercoaster in there, is it also there in the real file? Thanks!

Have you tried using the minecraft.jar from https://s3.amazonaws.com/MinecraftDownload/classic/minecraft.jar
This file weights in at around 295KB and works fine for me.
Regarding your second question, save games should be kept.

I can't even find the minecraft.jar in this site at downloads and it should be on the tab downloads then World of Minecraft client its just the client no jar file to the lib.

I've tried using the minecraft.jar in the Application Data subfolder but this just gives me an error concerning main class.

To play single player open up the client and make sure that the URL box is empty.

when you download the file from the link that people have graciously provided, put it into your lib folder of your World of Minecraft client.
after that you click run.bat and it should work.
also, if you would read all of the directions provided for you on the page where you download the client, you would've figured this out

Hey all,
I also cannot get the client to run - I have installed as directed (several times) and when I click the .bat, I get a dos pop-up window for a few seconds, it then disappears....and thats it.
(I am trying to run this from work - could it be a network thing? - I am able to connect to the minecraft auth server from work, but only able to play single player games - not able to log into multi player servers.)

Depends on the error it is giving you.
Did you click the run.bat to start it?
What size is the minecraft.jar? There is more than one and there's only one correct one.
