I have no idea if this has been addressed before. But every time I click on "Single Player" on the launcher it keeps on displaying this message:
Any idea on how to fix this?

this happens to me while doing multi-player single player will just kill the client

im now getting the error message for single player

old client works for me, use it until fix comes
