On Monday, February 16th, at about 5:30 pm American EST, The power at my house went out. Before this, I was talking to someone who was helping me on a project on the server. I was typing a message to this person, and boom, no electricity. I spend a cold, cold night with no heat in my house. the next day, after lunch, our power was restored and all was well. then I went to go mail the person on the server to explain what happened to me, and when I try to log on the server, I was banned for a week by Yenwood for "Road Greifing". My immediate reaction was to go to the forum and ask about what I did, because I did not remember doing any construction on roads or 'Road greifing'.

After I made my post, I thought about what staff could mistake as greifing, or if I had been framed. I thought that someone framing me would be practically impossible because staff can look to see who built what. So I rack my brain... OH! I remember some planks that I forgot to replace with sandstone in the road, but then I think that couldn't be it, because those blocks weren't in anyones way, they didn't harm anyone, all they did was look ugly next to the sandstone road, and no one in the right mind would ban a guy for a week for six blocks in a road that don't look good, right?

So I write a post in the thread I started asking if the wooden planks in the road were the reason I was banned, and they were the reason. Yenwood responded on the thread showing pictures of the area the 'greifing' had been done. One picture showed where the planks where, the other showed hershy's public farm, with yenwood saying that I had broken hershy's fences in his public sheep/cow farm. then Yenwood said "I have lowered your ban time to 2 days. Do not do this again".

.Redacted for misinformation.

I have a question for Yenwood: What happened on your end? I want to understand why you banned me so I can better understand how to follow the rules.

Also, if any other staff could explain what happened in any more detail than I can, that would be greatly appreciated.

The original stuff that went down can be seen here:

Would you prefer your ban to go back up to a week? Higher? Is two days too much for you to wait?

The 1 week ban was for the road. World of Minecraft has a 0 tolerance griefing policy. This doesn't mean "a little tolerance" or "a lot of tolerance" it means NONE.

I did talk to hershy. He's one the one who brought it to my attention. He said that someone griefed his public farm. I checked, and you were the last person to remove fences there. Unless you are going to claim that there actually weren't any fences there when you took his sheep, then you should be gratefuly he said he didn't want to press charges because I was about to extend your ban time to 2 weeks.

we need to clear up this hershy thing

What happen to the farm exactly? I'm just confused right now, The fences weren't there? like there was a hole in the fences at hershy's public sheep/cow farm? I was under the impression this whole time that the removal of fences was when i took the sheep from him under his watch, but it sounds like it wasn't. Did sheep get out of the farm? I need to talk to hershy about this when I get back online.

Also, I'm not asking for tolerance, I'm making a point that what i did with the planks was not greifing, just a mistake, a simple slip of the mind, that did not effect anyone (except you and me).

Ugh, look, I'm sorry to bother you so much. I just don't like the feeling of injustice served as a justice, frankly I would normally just take the punishment, but I didn't consciously do anything against the rules as far as I'm aware.

Yenwood, I'm so sorry that you had to deal with this, and I only wish you the best.

hershy claimed that someone let all his animals out. When I got there, he had already fixed it, but you were the last person to modify the fences.

The public road is not yours. Modifying it without permission is griefing, whether is is claimed or not.

The grieifing had happend before I gave him sheep, I gave him sheep on a Sunday and the grieifing happend the day before that, but either way I wasn't wanting anyone to be punished, I was just curious who did it
