Creative Server Stress Test!

WoM Needs You!... to help us break a server

With the creative server and the Part 2 Server/s Update around the corner, I need to make sure our hardware is able to handle the server loads.

So, as the title suggests, World of Minecraft Is having a server stress test.

All we ask of you guys is to try and break the server. It is set to the creative world mode. Feel free to do what ever you want.

DISCLAIMER

  • No Builds will be saved
  • The Server will have a lot of issues
  • No major rules apply (this does not mean you can harass people, swear or advertise)
  • WoM reserves the right to reload the map anytime
  • The Server will be shutdown without warning at anytime

SMP Updates & Changes Part 1 ft. Creative World!

Hello all!

Some Changes & Additions to the SMP Server:

  • Easter Map as been removed, goodbye old friend
  • Other Old Map has been removed
  • Updates to the Spleef Arena
  • Fixed Beds only facing west issue
  • Fixed Iron and Snow Golems not spawning (hopefully)
  • Tweaked Mob Spawn numbers (again)
  • Added Creative World

Now, Creative World Details:

At the moment we are just looking for a select few players to test the Creative World for flaws and any issues that may appear.

Christmas build off RESULTS!

Firstly, thank you to everyone who entered the contest, there were so many more people than I expected, or even knew that we had on the server :)

There was a wide range of different build ideas, I had great fun riding the minecarts in half of them and finding all the hidden areas people seemed to like building :P

So here are the top 5 entries (With points out of 50):

1) niels - 42.5

4+5) Lautlos76 + Xenuz - 38.5

Yes, you can go enjoy your stupid fireworks now and other bug fixes. And also, don't worry when Minecraft updates to 1.4.7 because it will still be compatible with the server!
